Since we have to create 29 faces in 28 days, I thought I better get ahead and make 2 faces in one.
I'm calling this "friends", since I had the challenge on "artists in blogland" in mind when I made this. It's only afterwards that I realized that I needed to put a quote on there and that the challenge is called "color this quote". Not exactly what I'd been doing on this page, and with all the wild hair flying around I didn't even have room to write the quote anymore...
Oh well, nevermind. I have my 2 faces, so for the moment I'm ahead ☺ !
I'm kinda addicted to drawing or painting women with wild outrageous hair. And for me having their hair entangled is a sign of their close friendship. The way their hair is looking they might not even ever get rid of each other ... ☺
Well, that's it for now. Hopping over to some other blogs to have a look at all the wonderful faces.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll see you tomorrow with face #13 ! Wow!
Oh, they are gorgeous! Love their soft expressions. :)
ReplyDeletewow dit is weer prachtig, mooi hoe het haar in elkaar verweven zit en je uitleg daarbij! Fijne dag verder!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love that wild hair and how you can't tell where one begins and the other ends. I think this is a perfect illustration of the quote at AIB - their hair is their quilt and you were inspired by the quote. So go for it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, simply beautiful. Love their expression!!

LOL, how funny about their hair being so entangled that they may never get rid of each other! Once again, a real hit!
ReplyDeletei love love love the wild hair!!
ReplyDeleteDeze is GAAAAAff, Denise. Wat een mooie tekening en ik vind het haar prachtig, zo met elkaar verweven. Deze heeft ter versterking gewoon geen tekst nodig. De tekening is krachtig genoeg en spreekt voor zich.

ReplyDeleteI joined in with this twice last year. It is great fun and I know how happy it is to feel that you "are ahead." I've set myself my own challenge of reviving the art of the handwritten letter. One a day for the year...and they are illustrated. So I didn't think I would have time to do a face a day too.As always, I am loving your art work; so inspirational.
