I planned on making a graphite sketch today, but before I knew it I was colouring her eyes, so it became a coloured pencil sketch instead.
I had a very, very hard time getting out of bed this morning. So I promised myself to be in bed no later than 11pm today. Which is early for me .... That leaves me with a bit more than half an hour to visit some blogs ....
So that's where I'm going now ☺
Thanks for visiting, and I'll see you tomorrow for the Paint Party, and my 16th face!
So beautiful. I love her hair. Your amazing.
ReplyDeleteit's funny how our drawings have a mind of their own. You wanted a graphite drawing, she wanted colored pencil :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good night's sleep...
Ik zit elke keer gefascineerd te kijken hoe je de haren zo mooi kunt tekenen. En deze is weer heel knap gedaan en dat met kleurpotlood. Alle schaduwen goed aangegeven en een heel mooi meiske! Super hoor!

Thnx Michelle! Here's a video that helped me a lot in learning how to draw hair: http://graphitedrawings.blogspot.com.au/2008/11/drawing-hair.html. Have a look there, and then it's just practice practice practice. It's very relaxing too! ☺
