Melting ....

I know that in a large part of the world people are now freezing and shivering, but here in Queensland it was HOT today! Summer has definitely arrived!

I am trying to keep my head together for my market on Saturday, which is not easy in these temperatures and as always my todo-list keeps growing and slowly but surely I'm heading in the headless chicken direction ...

Not to worry, I still have 3 whole days .... (whaaat!?) . Wow, I shouldn't have written this, it doesn't exactly make me feel better ...

Anyway, I finished my medium canvas. I decided in the end not to go with the guy wrapped around her neck. It was a bit too weird. So I painted a ..... bird instead (what else!?).

This is where I started:
And this is where I ended:
See, the guy is gone! And I'm happy about it.

Made some more Christmascards:

And then for those of you who may be in the area:
This is where I'll be on Saturday. More information here. It has been in the local newspapers too, so hopefully there will be a lot of people. Fingers crossed.

Two more things: the lady from the shop where I'm trying to sell some things, mailed me today that she had sold a box of mine. Yay! Happy dance ☺

And secondly: I read a very interesting post on Ayala Art about Blog Image Storage. Go have a look, it might be useful to you too!

That's it for today. For once I'm going to try to be in bed by 11.00PM. I almost fell asleep in the car today, NEED some sleep otherwise I won't be able to keep my eyes open on Saturday ...

Thanks for visiting! ♥ you for it! I'll be back on Friday for the Paint Party!

  1. Yes!! Alles komt goed.
    Lieve groetjes,
    Marianne
