She likes to use different techniques and materials, watercolours being the most prominent.
She's also a photographer and an illustrator
I love her style. I think her images are very powerful.
She doesn't seem to have a website, but she's on Facebook
I love all those little details; the lines, the drips, the doodles
Isn't this lovely?
The weirdest thing happened to me today. I wrote her an email on Monday to ask her permission for this post, and she wrote back to say that it was okay.
Anyway, that's it for now. Hope you enjoyed looking at her art. She's also on deviantART, go check it out!
Hope you're having a wonderful day. It's night again here in Australia, so I'm off to bed.
Back on Friday with the names of the winners of my giveaway! Joohoo! Exciting! Looking forward to it ☺
See you then ♥
I love all the drips and splashes in Rebekkas work, just beautiful:) How did you find her?
ReplyDeleteStrange thing to happen to your email Denise maybe theres a ghost in the works;P Happy Halloween
I'm not sure where I found her Sandra, I think it was on deviantART. There are some amazing artists on there!
DeleteThose are some powerful images - the detail, the drips, the faces. Just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful powerful art!! It turned retrograde Oct 29th in the world of astrology...anything technical can go wrong, things break down, the oddest most unexplained things happen during that time!!You're not suppose to purchase anything electronic during that time!! Maybe that's it...
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Ha! That must be it :-))
DeleteWat is deze stijl van Rebekka mooi. Ben ik ook echt weg van. Dank je dat je dit gevonden hebt en op de site zet. Anders had ik dit nooit gezien. Super mooi Denise.
ReplyDeletelieve groetjes Marja
Rebekka's work is stunning Denthe... her paintings have such life... and love love the drippy goodness... I'm putting it down to the full Moon... funny things happening here too...lol
ReplyDeleteJenny ♥
Denthe - This work is amazing!! I'm always so drawn to the persons that you choose to highlight and this artist is no exception to that rule!
ReplyDeleteCrazy about your e-mail - something chomped it in cyberspace. . .
Love her style, it's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWoW! I as you think the paintings are powerful! =O and I like them much too! I wish I could be that clever.. the lines and the drops, so magical.. and so is your e-mails that suddenly dissapeared!! =O No, it has never happened me.. strange things has occured inbetween.. but not that..
ReplyDeleteYes, very powerful paintings! Simple and yet intricate.. if that makes sense. Have you checked your "archive" in gmail? I have unknowingly "archived" things before. I really don't even know how to do it, so I do not know how the emails end up there, but they sometimes do!
ReplyDeleteHer imagery is great. I really like the way she uses the drippy paint to her advantage. I've been having a few strange things happen with the Internet in the last month of so. I don't use Gmail, but I've had problems like contacts not loading, or my contact list disappearing all together only to return just as mysteriously.
ReplyDeleteTHanks for sharing the link, her painting is really interesting.
