Quick post

Uh-oh, it's way too late already and I should be in bed. So just a quick post today.

I'm determined to get a map-calendar ready for next year, so I finished another map painting :-)

And after a long deliberation I decided to join Inktober again. I've never been able to finish this challenge since it's really a very inconvenient time of the year, so I probably won't finish it this year either, but I'll do as many as I can.

I didn't feel like following the prompts, so I decided to stick to my own theme: one-line women (well, it's multiple lines actually, but it's completely done without lifting the pen from the paper) with quotes. Quotes about strength and empowerment. Here are the first 4 days:

That's it! Except for my funnies and thinkies of course :-)

Will be linking to Paint Party Friday tomorrow. Off to bed now. Thanks for your visit and your comments. They are truly appreciated. Wishing you a lovely day ♥ ♥ ♥

  2. Your calendar is coming a long nicely. I love the quote art. I am in women rights mode. We here in the US are fighting literally for our lives. Our rights are being taken without us even knowing it. We must stand in anyway we can. I love the women and men who have been protesting at senate offices.

This whole debacle here in the US has opened many painful memories and I am trying to put them down on paper and create through them. It is such a sad time and i know you feel this as well. Thank you for sharing your art as well as your heart.

That meme of the eagle wave had me cracking up, while the "Busy" poem almost had me in overemotional tears...I had to save it.
