Quick post

The kids have two weeks holiday from school, and somehow I never get much art done then. It's not as if they're still small and need looking after, one is 17 and the other is 15, but still. My daily routine is just that bit different and it's hard to fit the art in.

I just managed to do a sketch. Not very happy with this one, somehow she reminds me of a dog, but, well, it IS a sketch ...

I did paint a bit, and oh, it's so much fun. I always love trying out new things. I get bored easily so I need to change things up a bit every now and then ;-)

And that's all for this week. Except for the funnies and thinkies of course :-)

Here goes ....

Linking up to Paint Party Friday, the weekly blog hop-party where everyone is welcome!

Thanks so much for your visit. I hope your day is kind to you, and I wish you a warm and joyful weekend!
See you next week ♥ ♥ ♥

  2. You saying your sketch reminds me of a dog..... so many dog owners look similar to their dogs... same thing, maybe not.
Nice to see what you are up to even though you are so busy.
    wishing you a wonderful holiday.

  13. I am in love with that new painting...can't wait to see it finished. Even if your kids do lots for themselves their energy at that age can take up a lot of space in the room making it difficult to create. Still such a joy to have them around...at least I always thought so! Enjoy this time! Great funnies this week.

    Peace Giggles
