I'll be honest: I don't like this face. Not.At.All.
I'd rather not post it, but alas, I don't have anything else. It's another experiment with "messy" painting, and it's not even so much the painting in itself that I don't like, but I don't like her. Her face is too wide, and I don't like her expression. But so be it. Here she is:
I played a bit with her in Photoshop, to see whether I can make something out of her. I'm not nearly as adept in Photoshop as Joyce is, I just played with a few layers, but I do like her a bit more because of it....
That's it for now, I'm off to bed. Thanks for visiting, see you tomorrow!
Ok it may not be your favourite (I have posted many I do not like too) but I think so many artists would be thrilled to produce this artwork ;) I love that you deconstruct why it doesn't appeal to you, and then add some cool variations in photoshop experiments... Well done, even though not on your fav list ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat Shelle said! You may not like it but we do! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteSometimes playing around with a painting or drawing that isn't liked, new combinations can arise! The variants are really cool and the blue hair in the original is neat!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
I love them all, but i loved how you softened the green face, she sort of looks a bit cheeky!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she isn't perfect in your eyes, but I like her. The more messier the more merrier and luckily faces don't have to be symmetric!
ReplyDeleteyup. liking her green shades as well! xo
ReplyDeleteHoe mooi is dit Denise.........één en het zelfde gezichtje
ReplyDeleteelke keer een andere kleur...Prachtig!!!!!
een mooi idee...
Liefs groetjes Christiene...
