Calendars 2018!

My map-calendar arrived and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Here you can see the front:

And a few pages:

And here they are all three together:

There's 2 English ones and one is Dutch. If you want to see the images inside the calendars you can have a look here, here, here and here, or you can simply go to my Lulu-store and click on preview beneath the picture of the cover.

And as I promised: from now until Sunday the 5th of November, you'll get 15% off! So don't put it off anymore if you want one and get it now, because after Sunday it'll be the normal price again.

This is the link for the map-calendar (all in English), this is the link for the English calendar with images of my paintings, and this is the link for the Dutch calendar with images of my paintings. You can also find the links in the sidebar of this blog.

The auction for Puerto Rico is still going strong. You can find it here. Almost 2,000 $ has been raised so far. It has been steadily going up the first days, but now it seems as if it has come into higher gear. I haven't been on my computer during the day because I was working, and when I looked this evening I was shocked to see that both of my pieces have bids of 100 $ already. Wow, I never expected that! I'm actually getting a bit nervous now, just hope the buyers won't be disappointed having paid that much money ... But it's also a thrill. And actually a really fun way to raise money for a good cause.

Here are the two items I donated again:

Have a look at the other auction items here, it's all very different so there's something for everyone's taste :-) And don't forget: tomorrow is the last day! The auction ends Nov 03 at 3.00pm EDT.

This week was a really busy week work-wise, so I didn't get any art done. Well, I did a little bit, I finished a lot of wooden hearts to bring to the 2 shops that sell my products. They still need some rope to hang it with and a few layers of varnish. Here you can see some:

They were fun to do and easy to do in between other things. Still hoping though to find time to work in my journals or even start a new painting.... Who knows, maybe next week ...

That's it for this week, except of course for the funnies :-)

and the other ones ...

That's it for this week! I'll be linking up to Paint Party Friday tomorrow.

Wishing you a beautiful end of the week!
Thanks so much for your visit, and I'll be back next week ♥ ♥ ♥

Auction Puerto Rico

I still didn't receive my calendar, so I'm not putting it up for sale yet, until I've seen with my own two eyes that everything turned out okay. Next week I should have it, so keep your eye on my blog then, since I will do a sale for a few days on all 3 of my new calendars :-)

I managed to get two pieces ready for the online auction for Puerto Rico. Here's more information on it:

If you want to participate and donate art, you can find more information here.

I did another watercolour girl for the auction "You did not break me":

You can find it here if you want to make a bid (it runs from 10/30 to 11/3).

And I also did a mapgirl on one of the loose pages of my roadbook:

You can find her here.

I'm kind of excited since I've never participated in an online auction before. I'm a bit worried no one will make a bid ... Oh well, we'll see. At least I tried. It's important for me since I feel so bad for the people of Puerto Rico, and also, one of my brothers-in-law is from PR and his mother and uncles and aunts still live there (he lives in Belgium). It's the least I can do to try and help a bit.

Well, if you feel inclined, you can still participate! If not, please share the link to the auction on your social media. The more people that know about it, the more money might be made for Puerto Rico.

That's all for this week. No Inktober, no diary-journal. I'm sooo behind. But when the time's right I'll pick it up again, I'm sure.

Thanks for your visit, and thanks for spreading the word about the auction. Here are some funnies to end with a smile :-)

(this one's for Robin ... ;-) )

And of course also some serious ones ...

(isn't this adorable ... ♥)

Linking to Paint Party Friday, as I always do. The weekly blog party that is still going strong after all these years. Have a look over there to see what artists around the world have been creating.

Have a happy, joyful day and enjoy your weekend! See you next week ♥ ♥ ♥

finished all calendar pages!

It took a lot of patience and time, but I managed to get 12 images of my map faces done for my map calendar :-) I haven't put it up for sale yet, since I always order one calendar for myself first so I can check whether everything looks all right. As soon as I receive my calendar and everything is okay, I'll put it up for sale, together with my other two calendars.

Here are the images that I did this week:

I'm really looking forward to seeing it in "real life";-)

I didn't do anything for Inktober, since my week was super busy. In addition to starting a new job I'm also doing some training, and I'm starting to get the feeling of drowning in information and having no time to digest it. It's very interesting though, but how I'm longing for some time to just relax and paint for a whole day. My next canvas has been standing on the easel behind me and is starting to look very neglected.

I did however find an interesting auction for artists on Facebook, and I'm silently planning on getting something ready for this to sell. Probably one of my watercolour girls. Here's the information:

If you click on the image it should bring you to a document on how you can participate. Next week should be a bit less busy, so hopefully I'll find the time to paint something. I'll keep you informed!

Well, that's it for now! Thanks so much for your visit, and for leaving your wonderful comments. I'll be linking to Paint Party Friday tomorrow, and ending with some funnies :-)

very recognizable, since my son is learning to drive  ....

And the ones to make you think ...

Hope you're having a very nice day, and wishing you a restful and peaceful weekend.
See you next week ♥ ♥ ♥
