March and it's still winter!

We are having the coldest week of the winter! Yuk! Yukyukyuk! I'm sooo tired of the cold and the freezing wind, scraping ice off the car windows in the morning, the layering of thick clothes until I feel I can't move anymore ... I am not at all a winter person, and every year I just manage to survive it, but this year it keeps dragging on and on and on. If this weather keeps up, I'll have to move back to Australia .... (now there's an idea ;-) )

I did, however, manage to paint some more than last week. My canvas was laying on my table, and every time I walked past it I threw some more layers on there. That was fun. And now I saw some figures already so I started bringing them out. Here's a sneak peek:

And since it's the start of a new month I also made a new wallpaper! Here's how it looks:

And here's where you can download it :-)

Also made my weekly sketch!

Linking this post to Paint Party Friday. Have a look over there if you want to see some great art, and also if you want to participate! The more the merrier :-)

I'll end with some funnies :-)

And the "thinkers" :-)

Hope you're having a great day! Thanks for visiting and leaving your lovely comments.
They warm my heart ♥ See you next week ♥ ♥ ♥

  2. I am with you on the cold. We had a mild winter until Feb. It has been in the 20s with hail, sleet, and flippen show. I am done with it. I need warm sun. LOL I love your pieces and the wallpaper. My husband was looking over my shoulder and had the "WOW" factor from your art. Have a great weekend.

  7. Beautiful work. Your paintings are always so magical. The weather? Ha! I am sick of snow. We've been hit by the 'Beast from The East.' Is this winter every going to meld into something resembling Spring? Easter is just a few weeks away and no sign yet.

  8. It was the same here, coldest it's been all winter and snow yesterday. But I like winter, so I dind't mind. And tomorrow it's supposed to be almost 10 degrees C, so it seems that winter is now finally over. Beautiful artwork, as always, I'm looking forward to see how your painting will develop. Hope you'll get some spring weather soon!

  9. I do hear you as I don't like the cold either but we've been fortunate to have unusually warm winter for the most part with lots of rain(I can't imagine if it would be snow!) Hope Spring arrives soon and you can warm up. Super art as always. But your last sketch really takes my breath away-stunning. Happy PPF!

  15. So pretty! I love the white outlines bringing out the figures you see. It's always interesting to see how art progresses and this one is going to be gorgeous I think. And a lovely sketch too! I really like all of the details in her hair. So pretty!

Thanks for the funnies, even the sad ones. Breaks the heart for sure.
