And I'm still working on my boxes .... I brought some boxes to that shop that is going to sell them for me (hopefully ....) and now I'm finishing up the last ones. Next week I'll concentrate on my prints and postcards, and I want to make one more mosaic mirror. And maybe some other bits and pieces ....
Here are the boxes that I finished this week:
I have made 3 of these in the past, and they sell really quickly. Hopefully it'll be the same now ... ☺
This is another one with a magnetic closure
And these are just the top-lids of 2 square boxes that are not finished yet on the sides.
I might make these into cards, I'd quite like that I think ....
And that's it for this week! I'm linking this to Paint Party Friday, don't forget to go and have a look at the other artists there!
Hope my visitors from the US all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! See! Another thing I learned through blogging: I knew Thanksgiving was somewhere in November, but now I know which day, and I even know that Canada also has Thanksgiving, but in October! I tell ya, blogging is like sitting in class and learning things about the world, but in a much nicer way ;-))
Thank you so much for visiting and I hope those of you with online shops all have their sales going through the roof!
Enjoy your weekend! ♥ ♥ ♥

ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of black friday either till this week, being Australian! Your boxes are beautiful. Etsy is quite easy to set up, i doubt that you would have any problems, i mean look at this blog, its marvellous, if you can do this, then you can set up an etsy shop
ReplyDeleteReally? I've been procrastinating because I expect to have to plough through pages and pages of explanation and I never seem to find the time (or the desire?) for that .... You're giving me courage to at least have a look at it ... Thnx ☺
DeletePrachtige dozen!!
Lieve groetjes,
Marianne
Gorgeous boxes! I love the square ones especially. :)

ReplyDeleteI hadnt heard of 'Black Friday' either! Lol. Love your boxes and look forward to seeing your mosaics, are you taking any to the market? Sounds like you are very busy creating, no wonder you need a large stall!! Good Luck with the shop, I hope it works out for you
ReplyDeleteThnx Sandra! Yes, I will be taking my mosaics to the market. One is in the shop now but I'll get it before the market, and one might be sold. I got an email from a lady in Belgium who wants to buy it, but I've been looking at the shipping costs and they're sooo high that I'm not sure the lady will still want to buy it ...
DeleteYour boxes are unique and so beautiful. I love the quote about the rising of the sun. Yes! Make greeting cards!! And I'd like you to know that there are MANY Americans who boycott Black Friday. UGH! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteLove your colorful boxes with magnetic closures and your very thoughtful sayings.
ReplyDeleteI have never shopped on Thanksgiving for anything but the ingredient I forgot, or on Black Friday, as I hate crowds and even don't like shopping much!

ReplyDeleteThese boxes are great, I am sure they will fly right off the shelves at the store.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine why on earth anyone would voluntarily put themselves through the torture of Black Friday, I can only guess it's people who never worked in a shop during the holiday sales.
Brilliant boxes, unique and wonderful! Lovely sayings, I think too, that they would make nice cards!
ReplyDeletethey are wonderful!! let me know when you get your Etsy shop up and running (just do it -- it won't take long and you can fine tune it along the way!)!
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a bit like being in class... and I am sure etsy is quite easy... you just have to make the leap... mind you I have been saying that for years and haven't done it so maybe you shouldn't listen to me...xx

The Boxes are terrific!! Next year you will be more prepared for the sale! However with all your hard work I'm sure you don't want to discount too much!! These really are special!! You should make the two bottom ones into larger prints too!! I image many mothers would love that as a poster or print hanging around!! Good luck on the Christmas sales!
