Playing and doodling

I made another doodle! Just like sketching, I've been neglecting my doodles in the past year or so, and am rediscovering how much fun it is.

That is not to say that I will make one every week, like I'm doing with the sketches, but I will make more this year than last year (which should be fairly easy to do since I only made two last year, so I'm already halfway ;-) )

And, I started a new painting! I have all kinds of ideas that I want to try out, and I can't wait to continue painting. Wish I could just shut myself in my studio (well, it's a corner of the living room actually....) and keep painting without having to do anything else for two weeks or so. That would be heaven .... Anyway, this is what I have so far:

It will be kind of a mix between intuitive painting and negative space painting. Well, that's the plan anyway :-) We'll see how it works out.

And lastly my weekly sketch. I decided to go for the big-eyed girls again.
