painting in progress

Finally managed to make another lyricsgirl. I even put down the lyrics already :-) Here she is:

black marker and pan pastels - lyrics from Joni Mitchell

I'm still working on my large canvas. It really takes a while before such a big one is finished. But it's slowly getting there. Here's a detail of the couple:

Now that I see it on the screen I realize I have to change the colour of his ear. It always surprises me how much more you can see when it's on a screen.

Here's a picture of how the painting is looking right now:

Nearing the end. Although it might still take a while before it is completely done ...

Didn't have time last week to blog, I'm still hoping somehow I'll find a magic way to make my days last longer and make myself a bit more organized ... :-)

I'm linking this to Paint Party Friday. I'm curious to see what everybody's been up to! I'll just finish this post with some more funnies:

:-D :-D :-D

Thanks for visiting! Wishin you a wonderful weekend with LOTS of time to do the things you enjoy! See you next week ♥ ♥ ♥

  1. it is odd sometimes how we see things so differently on a screen or in a mirror, prob has something to do with tricky your eye to look at it a different way. either way, it can be helpful when working :)

  13. I love the way your artwork comes together. It is all outstanding. Plus your memes are great, especially the mirror on the stairs. That would send me toppling over for sure. In response to your inquiry on my blog, my signature EAGHL (pronounced eagle) is an acronym for my full name.

  18. Your artwork always amazes me - this one is no exception. It's fantastic. I love how you everything comes together. Which ear of the guy needs a different color? I was looking hard and thought that I like both of them the way they are right now.
