She is greatly influenced by various traditions, like icon-paintings
And there's also a strong influence of India and Persia in her paintings.
I like the zentangle-like details in her work
and the soft, almost invisible lines
look at all the detail in this work. I keep finding new things.
Those lines give her work a dynamic flowing movement
If you want to see more of her work, check out her website, her Facebookpage and her prints at Fine Art America. Lots more to see there!
I'm off to bed now. I've had a few (very) late nights because I have the bad habit of reading in bed before I go to sleep. Everytime I think: one more page, then I'll stop, but I just keep reading. And now I'm starting to feel very tired. No wonder ....
Thanks for visiting today. Hope to see you again on Friday for the Paint Party! ♥ ♥ ♥

Love her work!!! I can totally relate to the reading in bed problem...if the book is good I have been known to read all night and then suffer the entire next day. Swearing I will never do it again and then along comes another good book :0) I don't take books to bed with me anymore because of this.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you find all of these great artists, but I'm so happy you share them with us! Her work puts me in mind of one of my favs - Klimt.
ReplyDeleteThe poetry, energy and colors of these paintings are just awesome! Thank you!
