We build too many walls doodle

I finally made a doodle again! That's ages ago, and I had forgotten how meditative it can feel making marks like that.

That's all I did this week, creative-wise I mean :-) I'm linking this to Paint Party Friday,

Only one more week and it's Christmas. And this year I'm in charge of organizing the family Christmas dinner get-together. Meaning: cooking for 25 people .... Waaaahhh!!! Just thinking about it makes me want to crawl in a hole and not come out until the new year has started.

After (and if!) I survive that, I probably will just curl up on the sofa and do absolutely nothing for a whole week.

Soo, I wish all of my blogreaders the most fantastic Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or whichever holidays you're celebrating. May you find peace and love and happiness, and may you be able to celebrate together with loved ones.

something to remember .....

I'll end this post as usual with some funnies :-)

See you in two weeks time with an overview of my creative year :-) Take care and enjoy your day ♥ ♥ ♥

  1. One word for your Christmas dinner....delegate! Have everyone bring a side dish/veggie/casserole/dessert. You just provide the main dish. They'll all feel like they contributed and you'll have a much easier time! Just sayin'.......and thanks for the funnies! They always brighten my day!
Have a wonderful holiday with your family, see you in the New Year! ♥

  4. I hate to cook so I certainly don't envy you having to cook for 25 people. At our house it will just be three, and hubby will do most of the cooking.

I love your funnies. I hope you continue them for a long time. And as always, your art is fantastic. Yes to more bridges and no to more walls.

  13. I get such a kick out of your "funnies!" I don't know where you find them all. I can't believe you have to do all the food! I am hosting 10, 3 of which will be here in the house for a week. but it is all close family and the others are all bring something to share. But you are right, a good collapse afterward sounds about right. I gave my younger daughter your 2017 calendar for Christmas, as she is furnishing her new home in Florida and i think she will love it! have a good two weeks before you start up again.
